Job Title: Statistician - Summer Intern

What's the Job?
- Collaborate with senior statisticians on research projects involving pet data and statistical modeling.
- Develop and implement analytics automation to enhance workflow efficiency and reproducibility.
- Support experimental design, power analysis, and statistical methodology application.
- Present project findings to cross-functional teams, including applied nutrition and behavior groups.
- Contribute to high-impact analytical and methodological projects supporting pet care research.
- Currently enrolled in a PhD program or final year of graduate studies in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related fields; Master’s candidates considered.
- Proficiency in R and/or Python; SQL experience is a plus.
- Solid foundation in statistical methods such as linear/nonlinear mixed effects models, experimental design, and power/sample size calculations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong communication skills.
- Eligible to work in the United States for the duration of the internship.
