- Define and establish clear, structured release processes to improve deployment reliability and efficiency.
- Create comprehensive documentation and deliver training to ensure team members are well-versed in release procedures.
- Automate release workflows using CI/CD tools to facilitate continuous integration and deployment practices.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to streamline the software release lifecycle from code to deployment.
- Monitor release performance and system stability through observability tools, utilizing metrics to guide improvements.
- Deep understanding of software development, configuration management, and system administration in Windows and Linux environments.
- Experience with release engineering, including best practices for source control, build, testing, and deployment processes.
- Proficiency in automating build and deployment pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, BitBucket, or similar.
- Knowledge of observability tools and metrics collection to monitor release impacts and system health.
- Experience working with cloud platforms like Google Cloud, AWS, or Snowflake, and familiarity with Control-M and AI models like Co-Pilot.
