Software Development Engineer

Our client, a leading technology organization, is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join their team. As a Software Development Engineer, you will be part of the Infrastructure Automation Department supporting critical data center operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Software Development Engineer - Azure Cloud Based

Location: Redmond, WA - Hybrid

Pay Range: $60.69 - $65.38 on Experis W2 (Benefits/PTO/401k)

What's the Job?

• Modify and deploy existing Azure cloud infrastructure systems.
• Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions.
• Work as part of a project team to coordinate infrastructure development and determine project scope and limitations.
• Review project requests describing database user needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project.
• Contribute to automating infrastructure deployments, shifting manual command-line tasks into standardized automation pipelines.
  
  
  

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or relevant field.
• 5-7 years of experience in cloud engineering or related roles.
• Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure and automation tools.
• Knowledge of database systems such as SQL and development software like VisualBasic.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and customer service orientation.
