- Job Title: Senior Solution Architect – Java & Cloud Platforms
- Location: Charlotte, NC

- Design and develop scalable, high-performance payment processing solutions within a modernized platform.
- Collaborate with business partners and enterprise architects to define architecture and design standards.
- Provide technical oversight and mentorship to development teams, ensuring best practices in cloud-native and microservices architecture.
- Lead efforts in cloud modernization, focusing on AWS, cloud-native, and cloud-agnostic solutions.
- Create high-level design documents, architecture roadmaps, and technology adoption guidelines to support strategic initiatives.
- 15 years of overall experience with at least 10 years in solution architecture.
- Extensive experience in cloud modernization, preferably with AWS, and a strong understanding of cloud-native and cloud-agnostic solutions.
- Proven expertise in true solutions design, including domain-driven design and microservices architecture.
- Strong background in Java development, with secondary skills in Kafka and container deployment strategies such as RedHat OpenShift.
- Experience with modern tech stacks including cloud platforms, OpenShift, Kafka, MongoDB, or CockroachDB.
