What's the Job?
- Oversee capital investments related to fixed assets, including relocation and optimization of existing assets or procurement of new assets.
- Manage projects from conceptual studies through to project closeout, ensuring all phases meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including internal and external stakeholders, to facilitate project success.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards throughout project execution.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote a culture of safety and operational excellence.
- Degree in Mechanical, Process, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience.
- 1-3 years of significant experience in project engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work onsite in Waverly, IA, with occasional travel for factory acceptance testing and equipment evaluation.
- Experience in project management, plant design, equipment procurement, and process engineering.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and leadership skills, with knowledge of regulatory requirements for food safety and equipment.
