What's the Job?
- Implement and maintain effective product safety systems and programs to ensure compliance with regulations and internal standards.
- Coordinate with various departments and external vendors to gather accurate product composition information for SDS generation.
- Develop standardized templates and processes for product safety data sheets and ensure their proper application across divisions.
- Support the development of long-term strategies for product safety and stewardship, aligning with organizational goals.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
- B.S., MS, or PhD in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in the biotechnology industry with a focus on product safety and stewardship.
- Proven expertise in Safety Data Sheet (SDS) generation and familiarity with relevant regulations and standards.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle complex, long-term initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams and external partners.
