Mac System Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and security sector, is seeking a Mac System Engineer to join their team. As a Mac System Engineer, you will be part of the IT Infrastructure Support team supporting enterprise-level macOS environments. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, be highly organized, and demonstrate a passion for continuous learning, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Jacksonville, FL

What's the Job?

• Architect, deploy, and support secure macOS environments in compliance with enterprise security standards.
• Manage and optimize large Mac fleets using modern management tools such as JAMF Pro, Workspace ONE, and InTune.
• Develop and execute deployment plans for OS upgrades, application rollouts, and configuration changes with minimal user impact.
• Use scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Ruby to automate workflows and support operations.
• Troubleshoot complex issues related to macOS, networking, and security infrastructure, providing timely resolutions.
  
  
  

What's Needed?

• 5 years of experience supporting and securing macOS in enterprise or highly regulated environments.
• Expertise with MDM/EMM tools such as JAMF Pro, Workspace ONE, or InTune.
• Strong knowledge of macOS security best practices, software deployment, and network troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with scripting languages like Bash, Python, Ruby, Swift, or Go (bonus).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce professional technical documentation.
