We are seeking a “Lab Tech Sr. - 3rd Shift” to join one of our leading healthcare clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Read, understand, and follow written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Correctly identify analyzed samples and verify the accuracy of sample sequence in each batch.
- Process instrument-acquired data and generate appropriate analytical reports.
- Conduct the first review of GC/MS and/or LC/MS/MS analytical data according to each assay SOP.
- Transcribe or upload results to the Laboratory Information System (LIS) for final review and certification.
- Maintain proper and accurate Chain of Custody batch documentation.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and promptly escalate any emerging challenges.
- Maintain and promote a safe and healthful environment for self and co-workers.
- Minimum of one year of experience in an analytical laboratory setting.
- Ability to safely handle biological specimens, chemicals, laboratory equipment, and instruments.
- Previous laboratory experience preferred.
