What's the Job?
- Design, develop, and support control systems for industrial machinery, focusing on press uptime, print quality, and production throughput.
- Leverage B&R Automation Studio and mapp Technology to create standardized, modular, and scalable control architectures.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing teams to ensure high-speed, precise, and reliable machine operation.
- Configure and commission motion control systems, safety solutions, and industrial communication protocols.
- Participate in factory and customer site commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization activities to ensure optimal machine performance.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Controls, Computer, or Software Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- Typically 4-7 years of experience in industrial automation, machine controls, or PLC software development.
- Proficiency with B&R Automation Studio and mapp Technology configuration and integration.
- Experience with IEC 61131-3 programming, motion control, and industrial communication protocols such as POWERLINK, PROFIBUS/PROFINET, Ethernet/IP, and OPC UA.
- Strong understanding of scalable, modular, and reusable control architectures and HMI development using mapp View.
