Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement an enterprise-wide data governance framework, including policies, standards, and best practices
- Lead cross-functional governance forums to align on data definitions, resolve inconsistencies, and prioritize data initiatives
- Establish and operationalize a domain-based data stewardship model with clear accountability across business and technical teams
- Define data ownership structures and enforce accountability for critical data assets
- Ensure adherence to data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements
- Oversee data cataloging, metadata management, and lineage to improve transparency and traceability
- Embed governance practices into day-to-day operations across business units
- Promote a culture of data ownership, quality, and literacy throughout the organization
- Provide guidance and training to stakeholders on governance processes and tools
- Advocate for governance as a key enabler of digital transformation and advanced analytics capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- 10 years of experience in data management, data governance, or related leadership roles
- 5 years working with cloud-based or modern data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Experience collaborating with senior leadership and influencing cross-functional stakeholders
- Proven ability to define and drive data ownership and governance practices across an organization
- Advanced degree (Master’s or higher)
- Experience supporting or enabling AI/advanced analytics initiatives
- Prior people leadership or team management experience
