- Develop, implement, and coordinate safety and health programs at the plant and distribution center locations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations.
- Lead and manage safety teams, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Conduct safety audits, incident investigations, and hazard assessments to mitigate risks.
- Support environmental initiatives, including wastewater treatment and sustainability efforts.
- Four-year college degree in occupational safety, health management, or a related field; master’s degree and Certified Safety Professional certification are desirable.
- Minimum of five years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in program development, safety audits, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, environmental permits, and wastewater treatment processes.
