- Evaluate and quantify the organization’s defensive posture against sophisticated adversaries, including nation state actors, APTs, and organized cybercrime groups.
- Map adversary tactics and techniques to existing defensive capabilities across domains such as endpoint security, network defenses, identity, and incident response.
- Utilize structured methodologies like MITRE ATT&CK to translate threat realities into measurable readiness metrics and remediation plans.
- Collaborate with offensive and purple team functions to validate coverage through adversarial simulations and identify gaps in defenses.
- Create executive reports and prioritized remediation roadmaps to enhance the organization’s cybersecurity posture and compliance efforts.
- 7 years of experience in adversary emulation, threat detection engineering, threat modeling, or cyber defense engineering.
- Proven experience using TTP-driven simulation methods to identify gaps and validate response effectiveness.
- Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK aligned threat modeling methodologies and translating those into practical coverage mapping.
- Understanding of control catalogs and control mapping concepts using recognized standards such as NIST, DORA, and FFIEC.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical findings into clear executive recommendations.
