Contract Hardware Detailer Remote Direct Hire

Our client, a leader in the construction and architectural industry, is seeking a Contract Hardware Remote Detailer to join their team. As a Contract Hardware Remote Detailer, you will be part of the Design Support Department supporting project teams and vendors. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Contract Hardware Remote Detailer Direct Hire

Location:Remote

Pay Range:$75,000 - $90,000

What's the Job?

• Review architectural plans and specifications to prepare detailed hardware installation documents.
• Create hardware sets, shop drawings, schedules, and submittals utilizing manufacturer cut sheets and EPWS software.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, and vendors to ensure project requirements are met accurately.
• Assist with change orders, ASIs, RFIs, and technical inquiries to support project execution.
• Maintain clear communication across virtual platforms and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  
  
  

What's Needed?

• Technical associate degree or equivalent experience in construction or hardware detailing.
• 2–5 years of experience in contract hardware or commercial construction environments.
• Proficiency with EPWS or similar software systems.
• Knowledge of Division 08 specifications and DFH products.
• Ability to interpret construction documents and manage product data and costs effectively.
