Contract Data Analyst – Data Governance & Quality

Our client, a leader in enterprise data management, is seeking a Data Governance and Quality to join their team. As a Data Analyst for Data Governance and Quality you will be part of the Data Governance and Data Quality team supporting critical data initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Data Governance and Quality

Location: Millburn, NJ

Pay Range: $60-$61/hr

What's the Job?

• Perform complex data analysis across large, structured datasets to support data governance initiatives
• Write and optimize SQL queries, with a preference for Teradata SQL, to ensure efficient data retrieval and manipulation
• Conduct data profiling to identify anomalies, gaps, and inconsistencies within enterprise data sources
• Support data quality and validation efforts, ensuring data integrity and compliance with organizational standards
• Partner with data governance teams to maintain metadata documentation and support data mapping activities
  
  
  

What's Needed?

• Strong experience using Teradata SQL or other relational database systems such as Oracle or SQL Server
• Proven background in complex data analysis and data validation techniques
• Hands-on experience with data governance, data quality management, and metadata management
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
