Job Title: COBOL Developer
Location: Plano, TX (3 days onsite every week)
What's the Job?
- Develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, and VSAM.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA and operations to ensure seamless application performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues efficiently under pressure.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support banking products such as Letters of Credit, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- 5-7 years of Mainframe Development experience.
- Proficiency in COBOL, CICS, and VSAM development.
- Experience with JCL/CA7 is highly beneficial.
- Prior experience with banking products, especially Letters of Credit, is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
