CE Mechanical Technician
3 Month Contract
Atlanta, GA
Pay Range: $Competitive on W2 (No C2C)
What's the Job?
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance on mechanical systems including HVAC, pumps, compressors, and other facility equipment.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and repairs to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Assist with system upgrades, replacements, and commissioning of mechanical infrastructure.
- Monitor equipment for signs of wear, failure, or inefficiency and respond to alerts or error messages.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in mechanical systems preferred.
- 5 years of previous experience as a Mechanical Technician, Maintenance Technician, Marine Engineer, Facility Engineer, or HVAC Technician.
- Familiarity with 24x7x365 mission-critical infrastructure (e.g., data centers, hospitals, refineries, manufacturing).
- OSHA 10, NFPA 70E certified (preferred).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
