Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight of all nursing services and clinical operations
- Ensure continuous survey readiness in accordance with NY DOH and CMS regulations
- Recruit, mentor, and retain high-performing nursing staff
- Establish and maintain clinical competencies, training programs, and performance standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary leadership to enhance resident outcomes and satisfaction
- Oversee infection control, risk management, and QA/QAPI initiatives
- Develop and manage staffing plans, scheduling, and departmental budgets
- Promote a culture of professionalism, accountability, and teamwork
- Serve as a visible and approachable clinical leader within the facility
- Active New York RN license in good standing
- BSN preferred (ADN with strong leadership experience will be considered)
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience as a DON, ADON, or Nurse Manager in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
- Demonstrated success with state surveys and regulatory compliance
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to build and support a high-performing clinical team
