Key Responsibilities
- Research target accounts using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, firmographic data, and technology-intelligence tools to identify relevant decision-makers
- Execute personalized outreach through Salesforce, Outreach or Salesloft, email, phone, and LinkedIn to generate qualified conversations
- Qualify inbound and outbound prospects against defined business pain, technical environment, authority, timing, and budget criteria
- Book discovery meetings for account executives and consistently meet weekly activity, conversion, and pipeline targets
- Maintain accurate Salesforce records, including contact data, outreach history, qualification notes, meeting outcomes, and next steps
- Partner with account executives and marketing to test messaging for cloud security, infrastructure monitoring, DevOps, and compliance use cases
- Review call and campaign performance to improve connect rates, reply rates, meeting quality, and pipeline contribution
- 0-2 years of experience in business development, sales development, recruiting, customer success, retail sales, or another customer-facing role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and business audiences
- Comfort with high-volume phone, email, and social outreach in a quota- or metrics-driven environment
- Organized and consistent in managing follow-ups, CRM activity, prospect research, and competing priorities
- Motivated by measurable goals, receptive to coaching, and resilient through frequent rejection and iteration
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, communications, marketing, information systems, or a related field; equivalent experience considered
- Bonus: Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, cybersecurity, DevOps, or SaaS sales
