The Grant Accountant will be responsible for:
- Managing grant claiming, billing, and revenue reconciliation for state and county funding sources
- Preparing and reviewing grant budgets, financial reports, and invoices to ensure compliance
- Monitoring monthly financial statements, general ledger activity, and preparing journal entries as needed
- Supporting audits, monitoring visits, and grant closeout activities
- Assisting with annual budgeting and improving grants and finance-related processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a closely related field
- 5 years of grants accounting or grants management experience within a nonprofit setting
- Experience with nonprofit accounting software (Fund-EZ or similar)
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills with strong attention to detail
Compensation: $62,000 - $65,000
