SUMMARY :
The accountant reports to the Assistant Controller and delivers a valuable guest service while performing daily casino revenue audits, cash summaries, month end revenue and tax journals entries, completing statistics, account reconciliations, tax returns and related revenue reports as requested by management.
Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports by compiling information, preparing profit and loss statements, and utilizing appropriate accounting control procedures. The accountant exercises good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative and organizational skills.
Looking for a hardworking individual with a desire to grow with the company. Excellent team player who is able to work under pressure and not afraid to ask questions to solve problems.
Available for day shift.

AGE and GAMING:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry, 2 (two) years accounting experience preferred
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
· Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Adobe PDF
· Experience with Infinium financial application, Opera SDS and CMP preferred
· Must possess computer literacy and level of technical skill
· Must be able to use 10-key by touch
· Ability to work through high volume and stressful time periods
· Maintain manual dexterity to access scanner and computer via computer keyboard and operate office equipment such as a copier
· Must have excellent communication skills, including ability to express well-reasoned, independent thought, with natural ability to speak and write effectively at all organizational levels
· Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English with the ability to read and understand a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to problem solve and apply logic and commonsense reasoning to identify solutions, conclusions or approaches to a variety of situations.
