Position Summary
The Facilities Coordinator works independently on assignments that require judgment, independent analysis, and detailed knowledge of departmental procedures to ensure continual improvement, customer satisfaction, and adherence to company policy. The Facilities Coordinator assists in coordinating daily repair and maintenance activities for Facilities staff and provides administrative and operational support by prioritizing and managing service requests, ensuring timely resolution, minimizing operational disruption, and aligning facility services with business, safety, and production objectives.
Essential Functions

- Oversee and optimize daily facility operations, including maintenance of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structural) and critical utilities (compressed air, power distribution, water systems), ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient site performance.
- Plan, prioritize, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance strategies aligned with manufacturing demands to minimize downtime and maximize production uptime.
- Lead and support facility-related capital projects, including site expansions, equipment installations, and infrastructure upgrades, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and aligned with operational and business objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for facility-related issues, driving prompt resolution, proactive communication, and effective escalation, with responsiveness to urgent situations and off-hours needs to maintain operational continuity.
- Manage and optimize vendor and contractor performance, including sourcing, negotiation, scheduling, and cost control, ensuring quality service delivery and alignment with business needs.
- Drive compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements by partnering with EHS to support audits, inspections, corrective actions, and emergency preparedness/response initiatives.
- Leverage CMMS systems (e.g., MVP) and data insights to manage work orders, track asset performance, support budget planning, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Lead facility-related initiatives, including renovations, space planning, and workplace improvements, while identifying and implementing energy efficiency and sustainability opportunities to enhance operational performance and environmental impact.

- Domestic business travel may be required
Education and Experience
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent applicable education and work experience is required.
- Certification in facilities management (ie: IFMA FMP/CFM) or related technical training preferred
- 5 years of facilities coordination, maintenance, or related role within a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
- General working knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general facility infrastructure
- Familiar with safety regulations and compliance requirements (OSHA, environmental standards, etc.)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate with all levels of personnel
- Intermediate PC skills are required, including experience with the Microsoft Office Suite and email.
- MVP or other CMMS skills preferred
- Prioritize workload to consistently meet production requirements.
- Actively participate in a team-oriented environment
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work in a warehouse, manufacturing, cleanroom, and/or office environment that is subject to moderate to high levels of noise, specialized apparel, and safety equipment, and moving mechanical parts. This position will have exposure to and use of materials listed in the company’s Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
