Manufacturing Engineering Technician I (Production Support & Process Improvement | Manufacturing)
We’re looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Technician who’s curious, detail-oriented, and interested in how things work—and how they can work better.
This role supports the small printers production process by helping troubleshoot issues, run tests, and gather data to improve production performance and product quality. You’ll work closely with Engineering, Production, and other teams to identify problems, evaluate solutions, and support continuous improvement efforts.
Just as important, we’re looking for someone who is hands-on, eager to learn, and able to apply critical thinking to real-world manufacturing challenges.
What You’ll Do

Support production by testing, inspecting, and troubleshooting equipment and processes

Investigate production issues, identify root causes, and assist in developing solutions

Conduct tests and collect data to support engineering analysis and process improvements

Evaluate machine performance and recommend adjustments to improve product quality and efficiency

Assist with documenting processes, workmanship standards, and assembly procedures

Work with Engineering, Production, and other teams to support continuous improvement initiatives
-
Support part quality validation following machine adjustments or process changes

Help analyze technical operations and identify opportunities to improve consistency and performance
What We’re Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred
-
1 year of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment preferred
-
Interest in manufacturing processes, equipment, and continuous improvement
-
Basic understanding of quality tools and data collection methods is a plus
-
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
-
Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams
-
Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, basic systems)

Ability to follow processes while also identifying opportunities for improvement

Qualifications:Education and Experience
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent applicable education and work experience is required; an Associate’s degree is preferred.
- 1 year of related experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is preferred.
- Knowledge and application of quality tools and data collection a plus
- Intermediate PC skills are required, including experience with the Microsoft Office Suite and email.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate with all levels of personnel
- Solve problems using critical thinking and sound judgment.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work in a warehouse, manufacturing, cleanroom, and/or office environment that is subject to moderate to high levels of noise, specialized apparel, safety equipment, and moving mechanical parts. This position will have exposure to and use of materials listed in the company’s Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

While performing the duties of this job, the employee conducts primarily medium work with frequent periods of standing, walking, squatting, climbing, and crawling. This position requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds. Repetitive motions (movements) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers are required.
