Position Overview
EPSI is seeking a Custodial Quality & Startup Supervisor to serve as a key operational leader across our portfolio of contracts.
This role sits at the center of two critical functions:
- Ensuring consistent service quality across all sites, and
- Leading the successful launch of new contracts
You will operate across multiple locations, working directly with corporate directors, project managers and frontline employees in the field to identify gaps, implement improvements, and bring new operations online quickly and effectively.
This is a high-visibility, high-impact role—ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and takes ownership of results.
Key Responsibilities, Quality Control & Field Oversight
- Conduct schedules and unscheduled inspections across custodial and grounds contracts
- Identify performance gaps and implement corrective action plans
- Ensure adherence to EPSI standards, safety protocols, and customer expectations
- Validate accuracy of site-level inspections and reporting
New Contract Startups (Phase-In Leadership)
- Lead 30-day (or less) mobilization efforts for new contracts, nationwide
- Coordinate staffing readiness, training, and initial service delivery
- Ensure equipment, supplies, and processes are in place from day one
- Stabilize new sites and transition them to steady-state operations
Training & Development
- Train project managers, supervisors, and frontline staff on best practices
- Reinforce operational standards and consistency across all locations
- Support underperforming sites with hands-on coaching
Operational Support
- Serve as a rapid-response resource for sites experiencing staffing or performance challenges
- Provide temporary coverage or leadership support when needed
What Success Looks Like (KPIs)
- New contracts fully stabilized within 30 days
- Site inspection scores consistently ≥ 90% across the portfolio
- Underperforming sites improved to standard within 30–60 days
- High compliance with safety and operational standards
- Strong feedback from clients and internal leadership
Qualifications
Required:
- 5–7 years of experience in facilities services, custodial, HES, or similar field operations
- Proven ability to manage or improve multi-site operations
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to execute in the field
- Willingness to travel locally (Central Texas focus)
- High level of accountability and ownership
- Team player, works well with others
Preferred:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience leading new contract startups or mobilizations
- Experience conducting inspections or quality audits
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a major plus
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $60.000 to 65,000 per year to start (based on experience)
