Job description:Large manufacturing facility located in Warminster, PA is seeking a 1st shift (7am to 3pm Mon- Fri) and a 2nd shift ( 3pm to 1am Mon - Thurs) Shipping and Receiving Specialist. Pay $21 to start and then once perm this will increase along with excellent benefits offered! Need to have experience creating BOLs, revising and populating a commercial invoice, domestic and international shipping and customs documentation.Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining efficient warehouse operations. This role is vital in supporting our logistics, inventory accuracy, and timely delivery processes, contributing to overall customer satisfaction and operational excellence.DutiesReceive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).Load and unload trucks efficiently using forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment.Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, labeling, and staging orders for delivery or transfer.Maintain accurate inventory records through order picking, stocking, and updating MRP/AS400 systems.Ensure proper packaging to prevent damage during transit and optimize space utilization.Operate warehouse equipment safely following all safety protocols.Assist with stock replenishment and organize warehouse layout for optimal workflow.Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory audits to maintain stock accuracy.Collaborate with warehouse management to improve shipping/receiving processes and resolve discrepancies promptly.SkillsProven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related roles.Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, or similar ERP systems.Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely.Familiarity with RF scanners for inventory tracking.Strong understanding of order fulfillment processes including picking & packing, order picking, and load & unload procedures.Basic math skills for inventory counting, measurements, and calculations related to shipping weights or dimensions.Experience with e-commerce logistics is a plus.Knowledge of packaging standards to ensure product safety during transit.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
