GET TO KNOW YOUR AREA:
- Plan, direct and implement greenhouse and field trials for insect control solutions
- Evaluation of new technologies for insect control through early development process
- Support commercial business in North America product launches and provide technical expertise in the insect control portfolio
- Identify / optimize innovative ideas, through interaction with development specialists, universities researchers, technical directors, and other opinion leaders in markets
- Serve as the entomology technical expert for turf and ornamentals business at Envu
- Maintain awareness of regional developments in scientific knowledge, regulatory affairs, and activism that may dictate changes in stewardship &/or composition of our portfolios
YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO:
Innovation
- Be the center of regional/ territory entomology technical knowledge
- Lead T&O insecticides early ideation through development activities based on internal & external capabilities
- Support Portfolio Life Cycle Management of T&O insect control
- Accountable for the generation of data to support regulatory submissions, write, complete and submit to EPA and PRD and new product profiling
- Support product launches regionally and provide expertise to the other regional deployment teams
- Manage external contract research and development activities
Cross-functional work
- Serve as thought leader in driving insect management solutions through new product governance processes at various levels
- Collaborate with Innovation sourcing and in- licensing team to evaluate potential 3rd party opportunities. Cross-fertilize with other regions for new technologies and a.i. sources/ potentials
Science-sharing
- Represent Envu in the scientific and commercial world
- Ensure competitive overview & trends are available and insights leveraged
- MEX/CEX communities to utilized establish pricing infrastructure (e.g. methodologies, tools and process) develop & manage pricing strategies that maximize value across the product lifecycle.
ARE YOU READY FOR THE ROLE?
Main requirements:
- Ph.D. degree in Entomology with 2 years of working experience, or MSc with 5-10 years of industry experience
- Experience in translating technologies to product development
- Experience conducting trials in golf, lawn, landscape, or production ornamentals settings
