GET TO KNOW YOUR AREA:
- Obtain/ maintain favorable Registrations from US State Lead Agencies for pesticide products to support strategic business objectives and ensure full compliance with applicable state regulations.
YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO:
- Develop and drive innovative regulatory strategies to obtain favorable registrations and defend existing pesticide product registrations with state lead agencies in USA.
- Obtain and maintain state pesticide product registrations.
- Influence/negotiate with state lead agencies for timely approvals and issue resolution. Review labels for compliance. Process payment of fees and track costs for product registrations.
- For data reviewing states (e.g. California, New York), interact with internal functional technical experts to ensure the necessary scientific data, studies, documentation, interpretations and information are available in a timely manner.
- Maintain compliance by understanding state requirements and tracking product registrations and labels in a regulatory database. Convey regulation changes and issues to internal stakeholders.
- Provide regulatory support and service to internal and external stakeholders, including interpretation of state requirements. Respond to inquiries for registration and regulatory information.
- Interact with industry colleagues and represent the company to external audiences. Lead industry task forces and association efforts on procedural and strategic issues
- Experience using databases to enter, track, and update regulatory information
- Experience working with ALSTAR submission system
ARE YOU READY FOR THE ROLE?
Main requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with 6 years relevant experience.
- Master's degree with 4 years of relevant experience
- PhD degree with 2 years of relevant experience
- Final degree preferably in biology, chemistry, agronomy or related subject.
- Able to deliver on objectives with minimal oversight and track details in a complex environment.
- High level of knowledge of relevant regulations.
- Strong negotiating, influencing and problem-solving skills
- Experience making regulatory submissions to government agencies
