GET TO KNOW YOUR AREA:
- Develop the global growth strategy & vision for the segment and lead a team of regional product managers to deliver against the portfolio’s financial targets, including EBITDA
YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO:
- Lead a team of regional Product Managers of the assigned segment to drive short- and long-term portfolio growth through effective end-to-end product life cycle management and ensure the achievement of their financial targets (e.g., EBITDA)
- Drive portfolio growth through assessing and prioritizing business cases for both, organic and in-organic options (in-licensing and M&A) based on strategic objectives, customer needs and financial metrics
- Utilize governance processes to ensure alignment with key stakeholders and effectively steer cross-functional resource allocation across local and global projects
- Collaborate with broader Portfolio team to make trade-off decisions across segments aligned with governance processes to achieve overall Envu growth objectives
- Collaborate with Innovation & ESG team to steer active ingredients (AI) strategies and develop appropriate life-cycle management plans for sustainable growth and AI stewardship
- Receive regular reports on financial and operational performance and gather actionable insights to decide on portfolio optimization actions
- Interact with Solution Development and Regulatory Affairs teams to ensure alignment of innovation programs for products/services/technologies with assigned segment & market strategies
- Collaborate with Product Supply to ensure appropriate sourcing strategies for active ingredients (AI) and formulated product, participation in Global S&OP and input into working capital decisions for the assignment segment
- Collaborate with Brand Strategy & Campaigns to ensure the availability of needed resources to achieve the global/regional portfolio strategy and product performance
- Lead product managers to collaborate with Commercial and Marketing Activation team for successful activation of the regional portfolio in market
- Monitor competitive activity and market trends and formulate strategic responses
ARE YOU READY FOR THE ROLE?
Main requirements:
- Academic degree in, e.g., business, science, or agriculture, preferably with MBA
- 8 years of relevant experience in product management and/or marketing strategy, preferably in life sciences or similar industries
- Ability to detect actionable opportunities and to translate them into strategy and concrete actions/projects
- Facilitate an open dialog with a variety of global stakeholders and external world
- Highly developed ability to communicate strategy and portfolio thinking to scientists and managers
- Capability to manage multiple tasks and projects at the same time prioritizing key growth strategic initiatives
