GET TO KNOW YOUR AREA:
- As Area Sales Manager for the Turf & Ornamental division, your primary responsibility will be to develop, plan, and implement sales initiatives aimed at maintaining and increasing business in the Tennessee, North Alabama, Mississippi market.
YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO:
- End-users sales budget for the assigned territory
- Driving sales through assigned distributor branches / DSRs
- Building and maintaining relationships with Distributors, Distributor Sales Representatives, and key end-users
- Strong internal collaboration with Key Account Management and other stakeholders
- Managing all territory budgets
- Good computer skills and the ability to work with MS programs and other database programs; willingness to adopt CRM
- Developing territory sales plan and implement
- Developing territory launch plans for new offers as they develop
- Possess the ability to travel as needed, approximately 30-40% overnight travel
ARE YOU READY FOR THE ROLE?
Main requirements:
- BS with minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience
- MS with 10 years relevant experience preferred
- Non degreed 10 years relevant industry experience
- Responsible for the sellout figures of assigned accounts in area
- Responsible for driving sales through assigned distributor branch(s)
- Strong communication skills
- Analytical skillset and business acumen
- Grow territory end-user sales as reported through distribution and create direct sales to distribution for assigned accounts
