Assessment and Data Usage Leader
- Job Description: The Assessment and Data Usage Leader is responsible for developing and supporting effective assessment practices and promoting the meaningful use of data to improve student learning. This role works with teachers and teams to design quality assessments, analyze student performance, and use data to inform decisions. The leader helps build staff capacity in data literacy, ensuring that assessment results are used consistently and effectively to identify trends, address learning gaps, and drive continuous improvement across the school.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of high-quality, standards-aligned assessments
- Support teachers in analyzing and interpreting student data to inform instruction
- Promote consistent use of formative and summative assessment practices across classrooms
- Provide coaching and resources to strengthen data literacy and instructional decision-making
- Facilitate collaborative data discussions within PLCs and teams
- Use assessment data to identify trends, monitor progress, and guide school-wide instructional improvements
- Create data graphics and resource documents for staff to utilize.
