Construction Project Manager – Ground-Up Commercial

A reputable and growing General Contractor in Dallas is looking to add an experienced Project Manager to their team. This contractor specializes in delivering ground-up commercial projects across K-12, municipal, industrial, and government sectors, with a strong backlog of upcoming work.
The Role:
As Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing projects from preconstruction through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll work closely with Superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to drive successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full lifecycle of ground-up commercial construction projects
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
- Lead subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and management
- Coordinate with field teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide regular updates
- Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager on ground-up commercial projects
- Experience across K-12, municipal, industrial, or government sectors preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and budgeting
- Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
