We’re representing a well-established General Contractor based in Virginia Beach that’s continuing to grow across a diverse portfolio of projects. With a strong pipeline of work spanning commercial builds, retail developments, shopping centres, and restaurant projects, they are now looking to bring on an experienced Superintendent to join their team.
The Role:
As Superintendent, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll play a key role in coordinating subcontractors, managing schedules, and maintaining strong communication between all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day site operations from ground-up through to completion
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and site personnel
- Maintain and drive project schedules to meet deadlines
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with safety regulations and company standards
- Conduct site meetings and provide regular progress updates
- Uphold quality control across all phases of construction

- Proven experience as a Superintendent within commercial construction
- Background delivering projects in retail, shopping centres, or restaurant builds preferred
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple trades and fast-paced project timelines
