Location: Stamford, CT
Compensation: Up to $150,000 Comprehensive Benefits
We're partnering with a well-established investment firm seeking a Senior Accountant to join its growing accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to expand their experience in investment and real estate fund accounting while working in a collaborative, high-performing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare quarterly financial statements and investor reporting
Assist with year-end audits and coordinate with external auditors
Record tax-related journal entries and maintain the general ledger
Support GAAP reporting, financial projections, and impairment analyses
Prepare annual 1099 reporting and respond to investor requests
Contribute to special projects and process improvements
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
3 years of accounting experience
CPA or public accounting experience is a plus
Investment, fund, or real estate accounting experience preferred
Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail
