The Senior Financial Planner is responsible for delivering personalized financial planning and exceptional client service to help clients achieve their long-term financial goals. This role partners closely with clients, advisors, and internal teams to develop customized financial plans, manage ongoing relationships, and provide a high-touch, consultative experience. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare for and lead client meetings
- Gather, organize, and analyze client financial information
- Develop customized financial plans, insurance illustrations, and financial scenarios
- Communicate investment recommendations in collaboration with advisory teams
- Track planning milestones and follow up on action items
- Deliver proactive client service and ongoing relationship management
- Manage client onboarding and support ongoing service needs
- Maintain accurate records in CRM and financial planning systems
- Respond to client inquiries and provide trusted financial guidance
- Cultivate client relationships through thoughtful engagement and referral development
- Minimum 2 years of financial planning or related experience
- Series 7 and Series 66 licenses required
- CFP designation preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience within the financial services and insurance industry preferred
- Familiarity with CRM and financial planning software (Salesforce, eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, or similar)
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- High attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook
