Responsible for assisting the Director of Food & Beverage, Executive Chef, and Kitchen Manager with all aspects of his or her duties.
Duties
- Preparing consistent, quality food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers, and snacks
- Assisting with stocking, setting up, and maintaining levels in the kitchen stations
- Plating prepared foods based on Kitchen Managers guidance on presentation techniques and quality standards
- Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
- Washing, cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts
- Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
- Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs
- Work with students to ensure proper training and integration into the kitchen operation
- Must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds
