We are looking for a remote full stack developer with technical expertise in both front-end (JS, Vue) and back-end (PHP, Laravel, SQL) systems for our e-commerce website and internal tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing clean, efficient code for new and existing projects.
Collaborate with a small team of developers to find the best approach and develop, commit, and track your progress using GitHub and Trello. Some projects will require collaboration with department managers and leads. Work on valuable projects and see the direct impact of your work.
Responsibilities:
- Work on new and existing projects
- Investigate, analyze, and recommend improvements
- Actively participates in recurring meetings
- Contribute meaningful work in a timely manner
- Help maintain developer documentation
Requirements:
- 2 years of work experience with modern PHP, Laravel, SQL, JS and Vue.js
- Experience with Elasticsearch, Bootstrap, jQuery, or Handlebars is a plus
- Solid understanding of common design patterns and REST architecture style
- Experience with Git and Git flow for code lifecycle management
- Experience with web development tools and techniques
- Ability to write excellent documentation in Markdown
- Experience with creating and updating spreadsheets, flow charts, and diagrams
- Is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Desire to learn new skills and techniques
