Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of accessory installers is to install accessories in a careful, safe, and conscientious manner, incorporating safety, customer service, and detail into every install job.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
The installer job requires installation of car, truck, and jeep accessories that include, but are not limited to: tool boxes, grille guards, step bars, bug shields, floor mats, cargo liners, vent visors, trailer hitches, bed covers, bed liners, front-end replacements, and lighting. While performing these installations, the Installer should have a great work ethic, verbal communication skills, and the ability to pay great attention to detail. Accuracy is essential to performing this job. Customer’s vehicles should be treated with care and respect. No personal items should be removed from customer’s automobiles. Also, keeping a clean work environment and following all safety guidelines are requirements for this position. Precautions such as wearing eye protection and keeping install cage free of nonessential employees and debris is a must. Machinery should be kept in good working condition and any defective tools or equipment should be reported to safety manager or installation supervisor immediately.

- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally and up to 40 pounds frequently.
- Must be able and available to work during hours for designated shift: 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Hours are subject to change based on business need.
Physical Demands (Expected Job Requirements)
LIFT – 40 lbs. vertically from 66 inches to 0 inches from floor (3 repetitions).
LIFT – 75 lbs.. vertically from 0 inches to 32 inches from the floor (3 repetitions).
LIFT/CARRY – Lift 45 lbs. vertically from 0 inches to 32 inches from the floor while transferring it to a location 90 degrees to the left or right (3 repetitions).
LIFT/CARRY – 75 lbs. vertically from 0 inches to 32 inches from the floor and horizontally transfer 15 feet (3 repetitions).
PUSH/PULL – Horizontally transfer 150 lbs. of force on a sled a distance of 25 feet.
CLIMB – Ascend and descend a step with a height of 12 inches from the floor (5 repetitions).
REPETITIVE POSTURE – Forward bending to reach a point 2 inches from the floor (10 repetitions), and squats to reach a point 2 inches from the floor (10 repetitions).
STAND – assume a standing position for 1-2 hours at a time, up to 8-10 hours a day.
INSIDE CLIMATE – requires working in a warehouse that is not climate controlled at all.
