Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our dynamic team in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various machining and fabrication processes. This role requires proficiency in operating machinery, conducting quality inspections, and ensuring efficient production processes. The Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of quality and safety while contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Duties
- Operate and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automated processes.
- Utilize hand tools and precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers for accurate measurements.
- Perform quality inspections on products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Operate CNC lathe and other CNC machinery for precision machining tasks.
- Engage in plastics blow molding, extrusion, and injection molding processes.
- Conduct materials handling and assembly tasks as required.
- Utilize press brake machines for fabrication of components.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot equipment issues and improve production workflows.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
Candidates should have experience or familiarity with the following skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Familiarity with plastics processing techniques such as blow molding, extrusion, and injection molding.
- Understanding of quality inspection methods and standards.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory.
