Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain programmable logic controllers to ensure optimal performance of automated systems.
- Utilize forklift for materials handling and transportation within the warehouse.
- Conduct quality inspections on products produced through plastics blow molding, extrusion, and injection molding processes.
- Set up and operate press brake machines for metal fabrication tasks.
- Perform machining tasks using CNC lathes and other CNC equipment to meet production specifications.
- Use hand tools and precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers for assembly and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with team members to implement lean manufacturing practices that enhance efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on machining, fabrication, and assembly.
- Familiarity with plastics processing techniques including blow molding, extrusion, and injection molding is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks.
- Experience with warehouse operations and materials handling is advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting while demonstrating attention to detail in all tasks performed.
