We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing facility. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, electrical systems, HVAC/R units, and mechanical components.
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills to identify root causes quickly.
- Operate and calibrate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to ensure equipment operates within specified parameters.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, maintenance history, and inventory levels.
- Conduct low voltage and high voltage electrical repairs safely in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
- Use welding techniques specific to
welding standards for repairs requiring metal fabrication or component replacement. - Assist with field service activities including installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of new equipment or upgrades.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols related to industrial mechanics, electrical work, and working at heights using tools like scissor lifts.
- Support customer service efforts by providing technical assistance and clear communication during maintenance activities that impact production schedules.
Requirements
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing facility environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial mechanic tasks and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, and analysis skills for complex systems.
- Knowledge of HVAC/R systems, including HVAC/R certification or experience is highly desirable.
- Experience with welding techniques specific to
welding standards; ability to perform repairs safely and effectively. - Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Electrical experience including low voltage and high voltage systems; industrial electrician experience is a plus.
- Ability to operate field service equipment such as scissor lifts safely and efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with strong communication abilities in English.
- Military background or experience in related fields such as analysis skills or field service is advantageous.
