π― Why This Role Exists
A founding, hands-on leadership role at the intersection of engineering, customer success, and product. In the early days you'll be deeply technical β writing code, working directly with customers, solving complex implementation challenges yourself. As the company scales, you'll build and lead the entire FDE function from the ground up.

βοΈ What You'll Do
β’ Partner directly with customers β from end users to executives β to understand business processes, pain points, and success criteria.
β’ Lead technical implementations hands-on β writing code and solving customer problems directly.
β’ Collaborate with Customer Success to drive customer outcomes and ensure successful implementations.
β’ Build and scale the FDE function β recruit and lead a team of forward deployed engineers.
β’ Identify product opportunities β spot where customer solutions can inform or extend the native platform.
β’ Align with Product and Engineering β translate customer needs into platform development.

β Must-have qualifications
β’ BS/MS in CS or related field, with 4 years of engineering experience.
β’ Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, or Go, plus SQL and data modeling.
β’ Project ownership: proven ability to lead ambiguous projects independently.
β’ Executive communication: comfortable working directly with senior customer stakeholders.
β’ Team leadership: experience leading a team.
β’ Travel: ~25% to customer sites.
