💰 Compensation & Perks

• Salary: $250k – $350k base equity
• Location: San Francisco (in-office)

Agents are being deployed into hospitals, banks, and governments today. Soon there will be more agent-to-agent interactions than human-to-human interactions. The world needs a gold standard for AI safety, security, and reliability — and that's what this company is building. They evaluate, certify, and insure AI agents so high-growth AI companies can earn enterprise trust. Customers already certified include a top voice AI platform ($11B valuation, 3M voice agents), a leading customer support AI company, and a major RPA automation leader. Partners include Stanford, MITRE ATLAS, OWASP, and Schellman.

The founding team is purpose-built for this:

• CEO — first product and commercial hire at Anthropic.
• COO — youngest partner in McKinsey's global insurance practice.
• CTO — ex-Head of Engineering at Cline, MIT grad.

Every AI system is a new category of risk. Evaluating a voice agent is different from evaluating a coding agent, which is different from a financial ops agent. The company needs someone who can architect a complex AI workflow in the morning and translate technical tradeoffs to a CISO in the afternoon — and genuinely thrives doing both. This is the role that defines how enterprise AI adoption gets de-risked at the world's largest AI companies.

⚙️ What You'll Do

• Own customer implementations end-to-end — from discovery and technical scoping through evaluation, tooling, deployment, and certification.
• Build world-class AI evals — set the standard for robustness and rigor across the industry.
• Go deep with customers — meet directly with their teams, ruthlessly uncover challenges, iterate fast.
• Shape the product roadmap — your frontline insights directly drive prioritization and strategy.
• Lead high-stakes certifications — own increasingly complex multi-person projects, define how agent evals get deployed across industries.
• Become the voice of the customer — turn patterns you spot across partnerships into product strategy.

✅ Must-have qualifications

• Entrepreneurial drive: World-class "get-things-done" attitude. Thrives in ambiguity, makes strong calls with incomplete information. Founding engineer or former founder is a bonus.
• AI native obsession: Deep fluency in current AI capabilities, tools, and techniques. Lives on the cutting edge.
• Solid product engineering: Writes production-grade code backed by a strong CS/engineering foundation.
• Clear communication: Can break down complex technical concepts with precision — to engineers or business stakeholders.

• Hands-on experience with evals, post-training, AI red teaming, or alignment.
• Operator mindset from a high-growth startup or customer-facing technical role (solutions engineering, technical consulting).
