What You’ll Do
- Prepare and analyze monthly and annual financial statements
- Maintain project and company financial records in compliance with policies
- Oversee job costing and WIP schedule management for accurate project reporting
- Deliver timely financial management reports and meet all reporting deadlines
- Lead accurate, controlled month-end close and account reconciliations
- Record and analyze revenues and expenses for construction projects
- Troubleshoot and resolve accounting discrepancies
- Participate in audits and ensure ongoing tax compliance
- Support process improvements, special projects, and ad-hoc requests
What You’ll Bring
- 3-5 years as a Senior Accountant in the construction industry, handling job costing and project accounting
- Advanced Excel skills and hands-on QuickBooks expertise for daily operations and project management
- Deep understanding of percentage-of-completion accounting, WIP schedules, and GAAP revenue recognition
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a professional, approachable demeanor
- Able to lift up to 20 lbs; comfortable in a moderate-noise indoor office
