Senior Accountant

Position Summary
The Senior Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records across multiple legal entities and supporting consolidated financial reporting. This role plays a critical part in the close process, intercompany accounting, and cross-border financial coordination, ensuring compliance with GAAP and alignment with parent company reporting requirements.

• Maintain general ledgers across multiple entities to ensure accurate financial reporting and proper documentation.
• Prepare and post journal entries during monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles, including complex intercompany transactions, eliminations, and reclassifications.
• Manage and reconcile intercompany accounts, ensuring timely balancing and resolution of discrepancies between domestic entities and foreign parent company.
• Partner with business units and international stakeholders to review financial results, identify variances, and post necessary adjustments.
• Support monthly and quarterly consolidations, including preparation of schedules and supporting documentation for the parent company.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations across multiple entities and currencies; investigate and resolve reconciling items.
• Assist with the annual budgeting process, including coordination across entities, and perform actual vs. budget variance analysis with actionable insights.
• Act as a key resource and mentor to accounting team members, providing guidance on multi-entity accounting and intercompany processes.
• Drive process improvements and standardization across entities by partnering with internal teams and global stakeholders to implement scalable, best-in-class procedures.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity, wine or beverage environment
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
