What You’ll Do
- Schedule, coordinate, and monitor freight carrier pickups to keep inventory moving efficiently
- Track shipment statuses from the office, ensuring the team always has visibility
- Partner with warehouse staff and carriers to resolve delivery issues promptly (no physical handling)
- Create, collect, process, and maintain shipping paperwork like BOLs, PODs, and invoices
- File and manage claims for damaged or missing freight with clear communication to stakeholders
- Stay in touch with carriers and internal teams via phone and email to keep shipments on track
Who You Are
- Experienced in logistics within distribution and shipping of dry goods applied in an office-based role
- Proficient with carrier portals (Project 44 experience a plus!), Microsoft D365, Outlook, and basic Excel reports so you can easily manage shipments and paperwork.
- Organized, detail-focused, and able to juggle priorities in a busy logistics office environment.
- Clear and reliable communicator who keeps everyone from forklift drivers to dispatchers in the loop.
- Engaged team player who’s ready to help wherever needed to keep the warehouse running smoothly.
