Du Quoin Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a dependable and experienced Maintenance Director to oversee the daily maintenance operations of our facility. This leadership role is ideal for someone who takes pride in creating a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.

Compensation

$18.00–$19.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

Schedule

• Full-Time

• On-call availability for maintenance emergencies as needed

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the Maintenance Department

• Perform preventative maintenance and routine repairs throughout the facility

• Ensure the building, equipment, and grounds remain safe and well-maintained

• Coordinate inspections and maintain compliance with applicable life safety and regulatory standards

• Supervise outside contractors and vendors as needed

• Monitor inventory and order maintenance supplies

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience required

• Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred

• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and building maintenance

• Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs efficiently

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Must be dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently

• Long-term care or healthcare maintenance experience is preferred but not required
