A well-established healthcare organization is seeking a highly organized Staffing Coordinator to support daily workforce planning and administrative operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring appropriate staffing coverage, maintaining accurate scheduling processes, and supporting leadership with essential administrative and operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and adjust staffing schedules based on daily operational needs
- Monitor staffing levels and respond to absences, call-ins, and coverage gaps
- Communicate staffing assignments and updates to team members and leadership
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure efficient staff allocation and coverage
- Assist with onboarding coordination, including scheduling and orientation support
- Maintain scheduling systems, reports, and workforce data
- Support payroll, timekeeping, and scheduling-related inquiries
- Serve as a resource for staff regarding policies, procedures, and scheduling questions
- Identify and communicate operational challenges or areas for improvement
- Assist with additional administrative duties and reporting as needed
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of experience in administrative support, coordination, or customer service
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency, including experience with office systems
Preferred:
- Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or a related field
- 3 years of experience in an administrative or coordination role
- Previous experience with scheduling or staffing coordination
- Experience working in a healthcare or service-based environment
- Familiarity with payroll, timekeeping, or workforce management systems

Schedule Details

- Shift lengths include 4-hour, 8-hour, and 12-hour options
- Common shifts include:
- 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (most common overnight shift)
- Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays as needed
