Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide personalized care to clients in their own homes. The ideal candidate will have experience working in diverse healthcare settings such as Level II trauma centers, hospitals, emergency medicine, PICU, Geriatrics, Medical-surgical units, and outpatient clinics. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives by delivering quality care in a home environment. Candidates with experience in post-acute care, sub-acute care, or teaching hospitals are highly valued.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients of all ages, including elderly and post-operative patients
- Coordinate with healthcare teams for ongoing care management and report any changes in condition
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients by following safety protocols and infection control procedures
Requirements
- Knowledge of medical-surgical procedures and inpatient/outpatient care practices
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient-centered care
- Ability to work independently within a home setting while adhering to healthcare standards
- Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively
