Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide high-quality care to clients in their own residences. Ideal candidates will have experience in diverse healthcare settings, including Level II trauma centers, hospital medicine, emergency medicine, and post-acute care environments. Candidates with backgrounds in geriatrics, medical-surgical units, outpatient clinics, or teaching hospitals are highly valued. This position is essential for supporting patients' independence and well-being within their homes.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper care plans are followed
- Support clients with meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks
- Document care provided and report any changes in health status promptly
- Assist with transportation to medical appointments when necessary
- Implement safety protocols to prevent falls or injuries within the home environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in healthcare settings such as Level I or Level II trauma centers, hospital medicine, emergency medicine, or post-acute care is preferred
- Strong communication skills and compassionate nature
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed care plans
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred for client visits outside the home
- Certification in CPR or first aid is advantageous
- Must be able to pass background checks and meet health screening requirements
