The Shipping Associate is responsible for supporting daily shipping and warehouse operations, including advanced scan gun use for purchase order (PO) receipts, tow motor and high-lift operation, packaging and order preparation, wrapper equipment, and small package shipping.
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced production environment. Excellent attendance and punctuality are essential for success in this position. A strong focus on safety is required, along with following company policies, procedures, and work instructions. The Shipping Associate is expected to meet quality and productivity standards, assist with cross-training team members, and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Responsibilities
- Operate advanced scan guns to accurately process purchase order (PO) receipts.
- Safely and efficiently operate tow motors and high-lift equipment.
- Prepare and package orders for shipment, including operating wrapper equipment and processing small-package shipments.
- Package and label finished products accurately according to shipping requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and assist with cross-training as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; additional education or training is a plus.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions.
- Basic math skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience operating material handling and packaging equipment preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
Schedule & Compensation
- Monday - Friday, 2:30PM - 11:00 PM
