The Assembly Associate supports daily production operations by completing assigned tasks safely, efficiently, and according to established quality standards. This role helps meet production goals while maintaining a clean, organized, and productive work environment.
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Excellent attendance and punctuality are essential, along with the ability to follow work instructions, maintain quality standards, adapt to changing priorities, and work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of production and assembly tasks, including cutting cable and cord to specified lengths, assembling components, and labeling finished products.
- Operate production equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Use scan guns to label products for further processing, storage, or shipping, including issue/receipt and conversion.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards and customer specifications.
- Package, label, and prepare completed products for storage or shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while adhering to all policies and company procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Basic math skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to safely operate material handling and packaging equipment
Schedule & Compensation
- Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- Monday - Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
- Starting Rate: $16.50 per hour with $1.50 shift differential for second shift. Also, excellent opportunities for job advancement and pay increases through our wage progression program based on training completion, excellent attendance and tenure.
